O is for One

Today in the A-Z Challenge, it’s O day. And O is for… One. As in, #1. First. Top dog. Wouldn’t it be great to come in first for something? I’ve never come in #1 for anything. Ever. But I’d really love it if that happened one day for any one of my books. I’m not even picky about which book it has to be. Just any of them at the #1 spot on a list would be so amazing. But I can’t get there on my own. No writer can. We can only get to #1 with the help of our awesome readers. So how can YOU help your favorite authors get to number one? Simple really, just follow these steps:

  • Buy books. (You can check out my books HERE!)
  • Leave reviews.
  • Let your voice be heard and tell your friends, family, coworkers and stranger about the great books you read!

See, simple!

Have you ever wanted to be #1 in anything? Tell me about it in the comments.

Have I ever been #1? No. I have seen my children come in first in swim races and I live vicariously through them. LOL it is a proud moment when you see first place ribbons and trophies for all their hard work. They did it not me. But I can’t help but think I helped a little.

I’m sure you helped them earn those ribbons more than you know! Moms do so much for kids. We’re the ones who drive them to all those practices, feed them good snacks and dinner, cheer them on at games and meets. So a little bit of those ribbons and trophies are just for you!

Hello, Heather! I’ve come in #1 for minor things, like winning a board game, getting 100% on an exam, etc. But I was never #1 in track or cross country or gymnastics, the sports I did as kid. Still, I loved doing them! And I love writing. Achieving #1 with my writing would be icing on the cake. But there doesn’t need to be icing for the cake to still taste delicious!

Happy A to Z-ing! from Laura Marcella @ Wavy Lines
