Six Sentence Sunday 6/26

Happy Sunday everyone! I’m so glad to see you all here, visiting and leaving me comments. Thank you so much for stopping by again! Check out all the other great authors participating HERE!

This week Maia has finally found herself some non-hoochie clothes and she’s ready to get down to business.

Maia eyed herself in the mirror. She liked the way the thin material skimmed across her skin without revealing every curve and contour. Satisfied, she grab her the new handbag she’d also purchased since she couldn’t bring herself to carry around the pink zebra bag any longer than absolutely necessary and threw her room key and wallet into it.

She really wanted to curl back up into the fetal position in bed and wish the day away, but she couldn’t do that. It was already mid-afternoon and she was still no closer to finding a way home than she had been last night. Now it was time to get serious.
