I received a nice message today from Gem Sivad—an Irresistibly Sweet Award! Thanks, Hun! I think you’re irresistibly sweet, too. Gem is one of my fellow Six Sentence Sunday peeps and she’s awesome. Every week she blows me away with her excerpt. If you haven’t checked out her blog before, you definitely should!
So Here’s the rules as I’ve learned them from Gem’s blog:

2. Share seven random facts about yourself. — Yikes!
3. Pass the award on to 10 deserving blog buddies. (I saw some others were doing 15!! but Gem only did 10 so I’m doing 10 too!)
4. Contact those buddies to let them know. — Will try to.
Here’s my Seven Random Facts:
1. My favorite alcoholic beverage is a frozen strawberry Margarita.
2. I’m originally from the Canadian Prairies. We joke that it’s so flat there, you can watch your dog run away for 3 days… Yeah, sure, that’s an *ahem* joke.
3. Sometimes I still say, ‘eh’ ‘pop’ ‘cutlery’ and ‘washroom’ even though I’ve lived in the States for eleven years. And every time my daughter sings ‘My country, tis of thee’ all I hear in my head is ‘God Save the Queen.’ Shush, don’t tell anyone!
4. I drive a huge SUV because I need the room for the family, but if I could drive something of my choice, it would be something little and electric.
5. I wish I could take English riding lessons again.
6. I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel that is the cutest doggie in the world, but he snores like a train…All…Day…Long. The sound makes me want to bang my head against the keyboard as I type this.
7. I secretly want to get my littlest girl a kitty ’cause she really, *really* wants one. But I resist because I don’t want another thing to take care of when the novelty of said kitty wears off.
